The 1991 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a dark ruby color, a rich, ostentatious, sweet vanillin, herb, and blackcurrant-scented nose, and gobs of rich, herb-tinged, juicy fruit, the opulent texture that Silver Oak routinely obtains. There is plenty of fat, glycerin, and alcohol in the long finish. (RP) (10/1995)
Lavishly oaked, with an herb and dill edge to the currant and berry fruit. It is a rich and harmonious style, with layers of flavor. *Highly Recommended, #76 Top 100 Wines of 1995* (11/1995)
