K&L Notes

This bottle from Napa Valley's historic Inglenook Vineyard was produced just after the winery's sale to Allied Grape Grower - and a string of memorable vintages that defined the the era's high end of Napa Valley quality - but before the Heublein era began in 1969. It's a relevant time to revisit old Inglenook, as director Francis Ford Coppola has completed the revival of the building and restored the brand to its roots of exacting quality, and this bottle's brethren may even be viewed in a collection housed in the reserve tasting room.
