Outer quote mark Ripe black cherry and wild berry aromas taste sweet and supple, with lead pencil and shavings from cedary oak. Appealing and complex if on a modest scale. (JL) (Web Only-2008) Inner quote mark

K&L Notes

Ristow Estate is located in the eastern hills of the Napa Valley between the Silverado Trail and Soda Caynon Road, near the Stag’s Leap District. Quinta de Pedras translates from owners Brunno and Urannia's native Portugese to "Place of Stones." The wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and production is a 1654 cases. Winemaker Pam Starr believes the wine is elegant, concentrated and approachable but definitely worth aging. This is definitely a winery to keep an eye on.
