Wine & Spirits
Light amber-tawny in color, this wine is delicately balanced between freshness and age. There’s brisk, tart peach flavor along with more mature tones of pale berries and woodsy mushrooms. Hints of tobacco smoke add to the wine’s elegance.

Racy and fresh, with detailed green fig, dried cherry, incense and hazelnut notes. Offers a long, focused finish. (JM)

Restrained and delicately spiced on the nose. Tight and dense but still has a lightness of touch on the finish, which is nutty and clean. 16.5/20 points. (JH)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The NV Otima 10 Year Old Tawny Port was bottled in 2014. Tasted with a group of other '10s,' this Otima was immediately recognizable simply because of its lighter color. Nothing else was close to it, including others that were more on the light side. This is a Tawny that's intended to be a bit different, lighter and more elegant, easier to drink... Unctuous in texture, very sweet and remarkably elegant, this is most enhanced by its lovely and lingering finish, chock full of flavor. Never even a little bit heavy, and with the power, aromatics and concentration well constrained also, this should be an easy drinker that is universally popular. Barring cork failures, it will hold fine for a couple of decades or more, but it's not intended to be aged. (MS)

Wine Enthusiast
This hits the sweet spot between fruit and wood-aging flavors. The red fruit tones have just begun to raisin, touches of wood-aging notes and integrated acidity. Not too sweet, it finishes with a fresh, rich aftertaste. (RV)
