The inspiration came from the kitchen, where Chef Falkner found that the humble date could add nuance and depth unlike any other sweetner. They became determined to express harness the spirit of the date in the best way possible. The result is a portfolio of three exquisite products all made with high quality date eau-de-vie as the base. Their first product was inspired by the wonderful date sweetened chocolates at Dandelion Chocolate in San Francisco. This bean-to-bar chocolate maker furnished some of their single origin cacao nibs to make this divine liqueur. T'MARO Cacao Nib Liqueur is a single-origin spirit-based cacao liqueur sweetened only with dates. The single-origin cacao nibs come from the Camino Verde farm in Ecuador. Just two ingredients combine to make an unprecedneted pure expression of chocolate, cacao nibs and date liqueur.
