Before the final distillation, roasted piñas of Blue Weber agave and agave miel are macerated in the base distillate. This adds a more intense flavor of ripe and cooked agave to the final tequila in the same way botanicals are added to most gins. The result is a super flavorful and intense tequila that blends the art of traditional production with creative technique that doesn't rely on adjuncts to alter the final product.
