Located in the village of Douzens in the appellation of Corbieres, Colline de l'Hirondelle (Swallow Hill) uses native grapes in the region such as Terret Noir and Chenançon, as well as the classic grapes Carignan, Grenache and Syrah. Eschewing the Corbieres appellations rules, they often blend multiple varietals not permitted in the appellation. Sur la Crete is a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvedre made with native yeasts and no sulfite additions. It is a medium bodied red with showing an elegant natural style showing brighter red fruit aromas with floral tones.
