Distilled in Grenada in 1993 on a coulmn still, this Spanish style rum is lighter in body than many other Samaroli rums. Aged for 24 years and bottled in Scotland in 2017 from cask #1279. Just 336 bottles in 750ml. 52%ABV Samaroli notes: Initial tones of balsamic and mineral scents on the nose followed by dried fruit, cocoa and cornmeal on the palate. Coconut is a dominant flavor here, evoking the Caribbean, and on the finish, rich notes of tobacco, vanilla, and licorice linger in the mouth.
