With its sweet cherry spice and supple espresso-roast tannins, this is a rich, round cabernet with density and length. Pour it while grilling a sirloin steak. (JG)

Blackcurrants, graphite, ground herbs, and espresso notes all emerge from the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon, and like the Merlot, the tannin ripeness comes up a touch short. Nevertheless, it has good fruit, medium body, and solid length. Give bottles a year or three and it will be easier to see how this will evolve.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (100%) opens with tar and tilled soil notions over a cassis, pencil lead and blackberry preserves core with a waft of fried herbs. Medium-bodied, firm and chewy in the mouth, it has just enough black berry and earthy flavors to fill the mid-palate and support the savory finish. (LPB)

Vinous
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is a very pretty and enjoyable wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Dark cherry, cedar, leather and grilled herb accents give this mid-weight Cabernet a good bit of complexity. (AG)
