2020 Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis "Cuvée Vieilles Vignes 46"

SKU #1552946 96 points Decanter

Outer quote mark Ripe and poised nose of peach, citrus rind, hints of cream and oyster shell minerality. Classy palate with a touch of oak, long, dry and chalky finish. *2021 Decanter World Wine Awards Gold Medal Winner!* Inner quote mark (7/2021)

89-92 points Allen Meadows - Burghound

Outer quote mark Firm reduction presently dominates the underlying fruit. Otherwise, there is very good freshness and vibrancy suffusing the intensely mineral-driven flavors that are supported by citrus-tinged acidity on the impressively long and bone-dry finale. This is a very fine Chablis villages. *Burghound Outstanding Top Value!* Inner quote mark (10/2021)

This is the first time I have ever tasted this particular offering and it blew me away! What a fantastic value, sourced from old vines this wonderful Chablis has tremendous energy and drive. Loaded with lime on lime flavors as well as saline and mineral notes this is a beautifully structured wine that is an absolute steal for less than $30!

Crisp, vibrant and incredibly aromatic Chablis. It starts with aromas of fresh citrus and dried thyme with touch of honeysuckle. On the palate it's bright and lively, with zippy tangy acidity, Meyer lemon zest and chalky mineral undernotes. Great Chablis to match oysters with jalapeno dressing.
