Allen Meadows - Burghound
The imposing elevation is evident as this is noticeably cooler and airier with its aromas of citrus and mineral reduction inflected green apple. The sleek, intense and precise, indeed even chiseled, flavors terminate in a bone-dry, complex and moderately firm finale. This is less expansive than the Chenevottes but much finer so it's a qualitative choice between them. *Burghound Outstanding!*

K&L Notes
92-94 points, Jasper Morris writes for Inside Burgundy: "From two plots, limestone high up, more clay in the lower part. Pale lemon and lime, but really attractive light dancing fruit. This displays the electric limestone feel, which I have found before in Les Baudines from Thomas Morey." (10/2020)
