The 2015 les Preuses from Vincent Dauvissat is a stunning young wine. The bouquet is pure, vibrant and complex, delivering an aromatic constellation of grapefruit, pear, apple, oyster shell, paraffin, chalky minerality, white flowers and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and racy, with a rock solid core, laser-like focus, great grip and cut and a very, very long, transparent finish. An utter classic. (Drink between 2020-2050)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2015 Chablis Grand Cru les Preuses has a very mineral drive and stony bouquet that to all intents and purposes I guess has not budged one iota since being opened two days prior to my visit. It is beautifully defined and understated with precise yellow flower and flint-like scents. The palate is succinctly balanced with a fine thread of acidity, a more feminine and elegant les Preuses compared to the 2016, but very long and utterly refined on the finish. This fulfills all that promise it showed in barrel. (NM)

Rich, dense nutty nose, with imposing mineral notes, sumptuous but not overbearing. The palate is super-ripe, with a creamy texture. Chewy extract marks the finish, which is long and mineral. Drinking Window 2018 - 2028. (SB)

Vinous
Pale yellow. Aromas of lemon-lime and crushed stone are lifted by topnotes of violet and lavender sea salt. Wonderfully rich, pliant wine with the thickness of the vintage perfectly leavened by citrussy lift and the rocky character of this grand cru. Simultaneously suave and powerful, fine-grained and penetrating, this seamless, bulletproof grand cru finishes with outstanding building length and an impression of chewy dry extract. Really amazing texture, concentration and early personality for a wine with a moderate 12.5% alcohol. This should go on for a long time. 95+ (ST)

Allen Meadows - Burghound
The super-elegant if restrained nose exhibits notably cool and admirably pure aromas of white flowers, pear, apple, citrus and plenty of classic Chablis elements that are trimmed in just enough wood to mention. There is fine volume to the solidly dense and atypically powerful medium-bodied flavors that coat the mouth with dry extract as well as deliver a strikingly persistent finish that brims with minerality though once again, there is a hint of warmth. As it almost always is, this is the most refined and harmonious effort in the range and this beauty should also repay up to a decade of cellaring.
