James Suckling
Violets and hints of tobacco with leafy cabernet nuances and a ripe dark-fruit edge. The palate has a suave array of blue fruit and some redder-berry notes. Very focused and fresh. This has terrific appeal.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is blended of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot and 12% Merlot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it is scented of vague plums and cassis with notions of earth and tobacco. The palate is medium to full-bodied, plush, juicy and easy-breezy on the finish.

K&L Notes
Judd's Hill is like a winery from a whole different era. Like something before Napa became the star studded, cult Cab producing, Disneyland it often feels like today. The winery is family-owned and operated by two generations of the Finkelstein family. The estate is a compact 14 acres of hillside plantings on the eastern slopes of the valley just north of the city of Napa itself. The wines are made in a very traditional manner, without excessive ripeness, extract, or oak usage.
