The 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers is also excellent, unwinding to reveal notes of green pear, white currants, toasted bread, anise and fresh mint. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with a more muscular, textural profile than the Clos Saint-Jean this year, concluding with a penetrating, mineral finish. (WK) 93+

This white is lush and expressive, boasting peach, melon, lemon and butterscotch aromas and flavors. It's broad-shouldered and balanced in an outgoing way, with a long finish echoing citrus and spice notes. (BS)

Here the nose is shaded much more towards aromas of petrol, rosemary oil, pear and a hint of tangerine peel. There is better volume still to the denser medium-bodied flavors that are at once caressing yet relatively powerful flavors that possess a borderline suave, even creamy, mid-palate that contrasts somewhat with the clean, moderately dry and crisp finale that exhibits slightly better depth and persistence. This is lovely and should drink well both young and with mid-term aging. *Outstanding*

K&L Notes
92 points Jasper Morris for Inside Burgundy: "Pale colour with a certain tension to the nose. Vivid fruit too, apples and greengage. Lovely lime infused acidity on top of white fruit, racy and classic in a medium bodied context. Tasted: October 2019."
