Founded in 1704, this 14-hectare estate run by the Bardet family is located on gravelly/clay soils that impart depth and complexity to the wine. 86% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon. We just discovered this property in 2019, and we have already sold quite a bit of their 1995 and 1996. Super old-school label for an “old school” property. This wine has lots of red berry aromas and flavors. It really opens up with some decanting.
