Beautiful nose of candied cherries, cocoa, and herbal scents. On the palate, flavors of chocolate dipped cherries with additional herbal notes and clean acidity and a bit of saline. Long, very clean finish. Delightful!

A medley of earthy mixed berries jump from the glass after this is swirled a bit. The vibrant mid-palate is filled with blueberries, currants, cherries and finishes with a mouth watering red berry snap. This should pare well with anything earthy or rich.

This is classic Barbera with its richness and complexity, dark ripe black cherries and plum, full-bodied with Lots of minerals and dust on the very long and well integrated finish. I would let this open for an hour or so and serve with a grilled Portobello mushroom or burgers and some great friends.
