James Suckling
This has a complex nose of grilled apricots, roasted hazelnuts, lemon pie, orange curd, cocoa and cloves. It’s medium-to full-bodied with silky bubbles and a rich, toasty and flavorful palate. Ripe and delicious with lingering cocoa and tangerine notes. 70% chardonnay and 30% pinot noir. Base vintage 2014 with 32% reserve wines.

Wine Enthusiast
Crafted from 70-year-old vines, this Champagne comes from a single vineyard in the Côte de Sézanne. A touch of maturity gives it toast as well as spice, balancing with the crisp acidity and edge of minerality from the Chardonnay in the blend. (RV)

K&L Notes
This Champagne is made in the Sézanne, a terroir within Champagne whose product is rarely seen in the U.S. It is aged for five years on the lees and is done on a cork rather that a crown cap, a process usually reserved for much more expensive wines, most famously Bollinger vintage.
