Full medium yellow. Elegant, pure scents of minerals and flowers, plus a subtle hint of oak char. Suave and precise on the palate, with flavors of white stone fruits, spices and spring flowers lifted by a stony element. Not an opulent style or especially sweet but intensely flavored and nicely balanced, finishing with subtle rising length. Very pure, understated white Burgundy. (ST) (9/2018)
A slightly exotic nose is comprised by aromas of white peach, essence of pear, matchstick and a hint of tangerine peel. This is notably finer on the palate with tension-filled, detailed and delicious medium weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the markedly firm, citrusy, relatively powerful and persistent finale.
