Adding water brings out rounded, nutty coconut and almond tones alongside ripe banana and unsweetened chocolate, finishing with cinnamon. A soft and sweet peated whisky from Knockdhu. There isn't much in the way of peated highland availability, but when you do find it typically it has a warm earthiness to the peat instead of the high salinity you find so often on Islay. A great everyday whisky for those looking for an easy drinking peater.
