It is fabulously fruited and inviting on the nose showing nectarine, grapefruit, Gala apple and lime zest characters. The palate delivers excellent fruit concentration and intensity, together with fine texture and vibrant acidity, finishing long and delicious. Immensely enjoyable. At its best: now to 2022. (9/2019)
Blending fruit from several subregions has given the 2019 Sauvignon Blanc a lovely balance of herbal and fruity characters, with notes ranging from jalapeño and grassiness to stone fruit, passion fruit and citrus. It's medium to full-bodied, with excellent concentration and some real length, a rare treat to find in a classic Marlborough bottling these days. (JC) (3/2020)
