This blend of Aglianico, Tintore and Piedirosso is a beautiful red wine with a lot of power, focus and depth. The 2015 Costa d'Amalfi Tramonti Riserva Quattro Spine shows good inner density and concentration, with notes of plum, blackberry and touches of exotic spice. It finishes on a soft note with toasted almond, although it does not lack for richness or tannic backbone. Some 4,500 bottles were made. ML (10/2019)
