Made by winemaker Dave Phinney and photographer Greg Gorman, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is a terrific, hedonistic, ready to go blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc and the rest Merlot and Malbec, all of which is from the Lewelling Vineyards. Deep purple-colored with sweet notes of blackberry liqueur, incense and spice, a touch of floral and graphite nuances, it’s full-bodied, nuanced, and seamless, and best drunk over the coming 10-12 years. 225 cases.

K&L Notes
GKG Cellars is the brain child of famed photographer Greg Gorman. A lifelong wine enthusiast; his travels as a world class photographer exposed him to many of the world's great wines and winemakers. It was only a matter of time before Gregs passion for "creation" would steer him down this path. His friendship with famed vintner Dave Phinney (Orin Swift, The Prisoner) catapulted his aspirations into the world of making world class Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit is sourced from the famed Lewelling Vineyard; an historic property in the western foothills of Saint Helena originally established in 1864
