The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Village wafts from the glass with an inviting bouquet of raspberries, spices, orange rind, rich soil tones and espresso roast. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and concentrated, with fine structuring tannins, succulent acids and a long, delicately perfumed finish. (WK)

The ripe and fresh nose of red raspberry, violet and spicy aromas is trimmed in a generous dollop of wood and vanilla influences. The velvety and punchy medium weight flavors possess good volume and richness that contrast somewhat with the slightly grippy tannins that should mellow out in time.

The 2018 Vosne-Romanée from Domaine Méo-Camuzet was showing lovely potential out of barrel, offering up a ripe and expressive bouquet of black cherries, black raspberries, woodsmoke, dark soil tones, a hint of chocolate, Vosne spices and a dollop of cedar. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and shows off fine mid-palate depth, with nice backend mineral drive, fine-grained tannins and very good length and grip on the well-balanced finish. Lovely AC.

Vinous
The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Village has a finely tuned bouquet of red currant and raspberry preserve aromas, the 40–50% new oak nicely integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with quite thick tannins that impart weight and density to this village cru. (NM)

K&L Notes
90-92 points, Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy: "Excellent fresh mid purple, very pretty aromatics on the nose, Vosne elegance and medium plus intensity. Lifted raspberry with softer cherry, quite compact for the vintage but perfectly proportioned."
