2018 Banshee Sonoma County Pinot Noir
SKU #1458203
Decanter
Plenty of ripe red fruit on the nose gives way to dried herbs and spices. On the palate, there's tangy acidity and tart cherry flavours leading to a clean finish. ('Decanter’s selection of top K&L Wines to try')

Vinous
The 2018 Pinot Noir (Sonoma County) is a gorgeous wine and a terrific value as well. Sweet dried cherry, mint, licorice, dried flowers and spice all open in the glass. This silky, mid-weight Pinot has so much to offer. Pinot Noir is the hardest wine to make in this price range. Few do it better than Banshee. (AG)

Wine Enthusiast
High toned in cranberry, rhubarb and strawberry flavors, this herbal, earthy wine shows a tartness of acidity and moderate length. The oak is integrated and unobtrusive, offering wide appeal and breadth. (VB)

K&L Notes
With every new release of Banshee we become more and more impressed with just how dedicated to quality these three young men and their team are. A few years back, the Banshee family of wines moved their production into a new winemaking facility and received majority backing from Foley Family Wines, adding even more well-known, "name brand" vineyards into their mix and fleshing out their already robust amount of releases with a few new gems. But the thing that started it all for them, the Sonoma County Pinot Noir, is back and as dependable as ever.
