In keeping with the growing trend of many fine boutique producers in northern California, Dewey's makes low-intervention, small-lot, single-site expressions from some of the Golden State's unheralded yet exceptional vineyards. Winemaker's notes: "In 2018 we jumped at the opportunity to work with a couple tons of cab franc from Barsotti. The grapes were fermented native, 100% whole-cluster, and punched down twice a day with two bare feet. We pressed gently to a combination of neutral oak and stainless steel barrels. Other than sulfur the wine received no additives."
