Chateau Valentons-Canteloup Bordeaux Superieur is a family-owned property that sits just along the Dordogne river in Bordeaux. It is owned by the Meynard family and Jacques Meynard makes all the wine on the property from white to rosé to red. Jacques also makes a wine under the label of Chateau Valentons-Canteloup that he calls "Cuvée Excentrique", and it is truly eccentric for a Bordeaux Superieur, made from Petit Verdot (70%) and Merlot (30%).
