The 2017 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands is a smoking value. Racy cherry, cranberry, and floral notes all emerge from this juicy, clean, and classy effort. With good acidity, loads of sweet fruit, and a clean, balanced style, it's a beautiful wine.

Brilliant magenta. Expressive aromas of ripe red berries, incense and potpourri are brightened by a building spicy nuance. Silky, seamless and lively on the palate, offering sweet black raspberry, boysenberry and spicecake flavors complemented by suave rose pastille and mocha notes. Finishes very long and sappy, with repeating floral character and smooth, well-integrated tannins. (JR)

Crisp and focused, with vibrant cherry and raspberry flavors. Pretty floral notes show midpalate, featuring a fruity finish that lingers with hints of cardamom. (KM, Web-2019)
