This Sauvignon Blanc from Touraine displays an intense, classic nose of cut grass, pepper and, believe it or not, pineapples and lemons, with plenty of minerality. Very crisp and refreshing, like a cross between a classic Touraine and a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, at an astonishingly low price! Perfect with seafood. Grown in an area located between the Loire River and the Cher River and sandwiched between the towns of Tours and Blois, the wine shows the classic characteristics of the rich clay soils that are fortified with flint and limestone. Very bright and cheery and drinks well at any occasion, even those occasions that call for those unfortunate little clear plastic cups that you have to use outdoors.

This is a best seller and one of my go-to Sauvignon Blancs. Light, airy and refreshing but filled with citrus and tropical notes in an absolutely thirst quenching style that begs for another sip. I serve this to practically every one of my guests.

Liquid Summer breeze in a bottle! Easy, breezy, beautiful wine this is. Fresh, light, bright, delicate and tasteful. You can't find any white wine for this price that will give you so much satisfaction. It is a crowd pleaser but that doesn't mean it falls short with a sophisticated palate.

Nice and zippy, with aromatics that remind me of a softer New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, with lots of elegance. Perfect for appetizers, salads, outdoor events and parties.

This joyful, mineral-inflected, citrus-infused Sauvignon Blanc is grown on clay and frangible tuffe soils near the marriage of two rivers, the Cher and Loire. I could work a pun in by remarking how ‘sunny’ the Cher beams during the heights of the growing season, but I’ll restrain myself. Suffice to say that this refreshing white doesn’t hold back on flavor, but flaunts its fruit with textural whiffs of lemon, grapefruit and pineapple. Try it with batter-fried calamari for a light summer brunch!
