This well proportioned wine is gravely and chewy with a deep middle of sweet plum and black currant fruit. The aromas are toasty and lifted lending this a real sense of elegance despite the tannic structure. This punches well above its weight class and is best decanted.

Very elegant wine, with graphite notes, followed by plums, cassis and cocoa. A good structured tannins that are perfectly ripened. A quick decanting and it is ready to be enjoyed.

This delicious wine was one of the hits for me at a recent staff tasting. It is a classic Medoc with dark fruit flavors and a touch of earth, that is all held together with a balanced tannic and acidic structure. Simply put, it tastes like a good Bourdeaux should and will go well with hearty foods. Decanting this wine will help open it up.
