This delicious wine made by the team at Chateau Beychevelle is rather dark and meaty for a 2016 but also filled with bright and ripe red fruit. This is amazing quality for the money in a hearty and somewhat chewy style.

I love this property--always a good value, and in the stellar 2016 vintage it's a great buy. Here you have a perfectly balanced Bordeaux, with a medium body, pretty red fruit notes, and just the right amount of structure and fruit. It's drinking well already, but will certainly continue to develop over the next few years.

If you’ve ever had Beychevelle, or their second label, Amiral de Beychevelle, you know how good the wine from these guys is! Their third and most affordable wine comes from a carefully selected plot in the Haut-Médoc appellation about five kilometers from the château. 70% Merlot and 30% Cab Sauv. This is downright delicious! Rich, tasty black currant, plum, and cherry fruit, with earth, toast, and soft tannins.

A spicy wine, with notes of cocoa, cassis, and wet earth. Great quality wine we would expect from a wine made by Beychevelle. An hour decanting or a couple of years in the cellars, and it's ready to be enjoyed.

Made by the excellent Beychevelle winemaking team. Very minty on the nose with black fruit undertones. Spicy, sexy on the palate with a lingering finish. A baby Beychevelle for under $25.
Drink from 2020 to 2030
