Seven Stills / New World Ales "Coastal Cocktail" Hazy Double IPA, California (16oz cans)

SKU #1411031

From the brewery: "We collaborated with our good friend Mark over at New World Ales again, but this time we had to bump it up a little bit with that lil bit of Kiwi-Love. Regardless of all those delicious fruit additions... this beer lives that DANK life. Dry-hopped with Amarillo, Cascade and Chinook, the initial sweetness on the nose drops out to a very distinct bite that is reminiscent of pine, citrus peel, and an outdoor Reggae concert. The flavor goes on a very similar ride, with that big initial stone fruit sweetness dropping out to a crisp bitterness that cleans out nice and dry on the finish. This is our once-a-year homage to one of the Bay's greatest exports, and if last year is any sign its going to be going fast... so don't get left High and Dry!"

- When people consider domestic wine, they normally think about the state of California. The fine viticultural Region within California, including the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Mendocino and Santa Barbara, are capable of growing grapes of world-class quality. But there's plenty of fabulous wine coming from other states, too. Oregon, Washington and New York are also causing eyebrows (and glassware) to be raised around the world.

- With the explosive growth that California's wine industry has seen the past several years, it's easy to view winemaking and grape growing in the Golden State as a recent phenomenon. And while it's true that California's viticultural history is brief compared to several European countries, this state's roots date back well over 200 years. Due to the enormous response to California wine within the United States and worldwide, there are thousands of excellent and diverse wines being produced within the state each year.
