K&L Notes

This Champagne, from the great 2012 vintage, is composed of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru of Bouzy and the Premier Cru of Ecueil. It is 60% vinified in oak and dosed at just 4g/l. This is vinous, golden nectar, that thanks to the low dosage, still finishes dry. This has the wonderful hazelnut and nougat character of top class Meursault, and I can't wait to have it with lobster! - Gary Westby, K&L Champagne Buyer

With more than half Pinot Noir, the star of the 2012 vintage, this Champagne is driven with minerality, focused with lemon zest, and textured by toasted oak. The nose and palate are filled with toasted baking spice and yellow apple that lean on the bright acidity for length. It is absolutely delicious and will be the new competition for our staple DI vintage Champagnes.
