A fresh white that marries the intense aromatic characters of Torrontes (85%) and Riesling: juicy peach, zesty citrus and a touch of mango. Zippy acidity means this easygoing, versatile, well-priced wine is perfect with a wide range of dishes. ('Decanter’s selection of top K&L Wines to try') (1/2021)
Colomé is Donald Hess' groundbreaking Argentinian winery in the rugged, high- elevation Salta region. Amalaya is a label from this winery that presents blends based on Torrontes (for the white) and Malbec for the red. This is always our favorite Torrontes, and it's exciting to see what this winery is able to achieve with a bit of Riesling blended in. This wine is bright, delicious, and impeccably made from organically cultivated grapes grown around 5,500 feet above sea level.
