From vines planted in 1974, the 2014 Pinot Noir Three Corner is sensational. Deep ruby/purple, with fabulous raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, some darker cherries, chocolate and licorice, the wine is full-bodied, saturated in color, and quite a substantial mouthful of Pinot Noir that should drink well for 10-12+ years. Vinous
The 2014 Pinot Noir Three Corner is arguably the most complete wine in this range, as it expresses all the elements that make Tom Rochioli's Pinots so compelling. Expressive aromatics meld into a core of generous fruit, all with silky tannins that lend support and plenty of Russian River raciness. Dark red cherry, plum, cola, hard candy and spices build to the intense, perfumed finish. The Three Corner is a wine of real presence and personality. (AG)

Wine Enthusiast
From some of the property's oldest vines, this wine conveys a nostalgic component that's hard to resist, an approachability that meets length and breadth. Baked bread, cherry, vanilla and black tea give way to zesty acidity and a note of forest floor, but nothing competes with the allure of rose petals and orange blossoms that beckon around every corner. This remarkably elegant and understated expression of fine-grained Pinot Noir delivers a smooth, focused beam of smoke, plum, wilted lavender, anise and dusty earth flavors. Appealingly subtle. (JL)
