Wine & Spirits
A selection of Riesling named for the estate’s founder, this grows on clay-limestone soils, mostly around the village of Eguisheim. It’s a rich wine with enough limestone abrasion to the acidity that it feels clean and fresh, the generously concentrated flavors of lemon and golden apple edged with bitter notes of quinine, dandelion greens and lemon zest. Tingling with energy.

Delightful peachy notes define the fruity friendly nose. The palate adds zesty lemon to this rich fruit to create one of those dramatic and moreish Rieslings that teeter enticingly on the brink of peachy richness and citrus tang. The palate is slender, light footed and dry, the finish is whistle clean and wonderfully appetizing. (AK)

James Suckling
A fresh and focused riesling with sliced pear, green apple and hints of mineral. Medium body, crisp and pretty. Drink now. From organic grapes.

Vinous
Bright straw. Broad aromas and flavors of smoky minerals, balsamic oils and ripe yellow fruit. Tactile and broad on the palate, presenting dense fruit flavors on entry, then more diffuse and only medium-long on the back end. (ID)
