1987 Cossart Gordon Bual Vintage Madeira

SKU #1346890

Cossart Gordon is undoubtedly the most historic of the remaining shippers on the island of Madeira. Noel Cossart literally wrote the book on the Madeira (a great read, highly recommended) and his family's company continues to produce great examples of Madeira at a variety of prices. Of course the vintage bottlings are superb --and incredibly rare. Bual is the house specialty here, and this 1987 vintage is a rich, intensely flavored elixir --notes of brown sugar combine with a unique savory quality to create an intriguing sense of balance on this delicious vintage bottling. Highly recommended.
