Wine Enthusiast
A showcase of great winemaking, this has fruit from both the Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley appellations. Complex, structured and built with strong textural components, it boasts melded flavors of fresh strawberry, citrus and blueberry, as well as lingering notes of black tea and baking spice. *Editors' Choice* (VB)

Burghound
There is a whiff of menthol to the ever-so-softly oaked red currant, floral and discreet lavender hints. There is good focus to the energetic middle weight flavors that possess an appealing texture, all wrapped in a dusty, moderately firm and youthfully austere finish. This too should amply repay mid-term cellaring. *Outstanding*

Connoisseurs Guide
This racy wine's moderately intense aromas of pristine red cherries are graced with an inviting touch of dried flowers, a subtle note of fresh herbs and a well-considered dollop of sweet and very supportive oak all of which traits are replayed in the very lively, long-lasting flavors that ensue. A sleek and neatly balanced Pinot Noir whose fruity richness and vitality get equal emphasis, it is already showing enormous appeal and, although it is balanced to age gracefully for at least a few years, its enjoyment requires no waiting at all.

Wine & Spirits
A generous, clean and fragrant Pinot, this is not heavily extracted or superripe. Instead, it’s a standard-bearer for Sonoma County, an earthy and bright cherry-scented wine with brisk clarity.
