 No one does Vin Santo like Avignonesi, and the wine is presented in two different versions. The 1993 Vin Santo is a white grape wine, a glowing brownish amber in tonality with an inebriating nose of fig jam, roasted apricots, smoke, and tar, a sumptuous, viscous palate of dates, figs, and dried apricots, and a refreshing, invigorating acidity which maintains the balance.
