Lehmann "Jamesse Reference" Grand Champagne glass #41 (we can only ship in 6-packs)

SKU #1323102

This is the most exciting glass discovery–and the very best way to enjoy Champagne. Philippe Jamesse is the fromer Sommelier at Château Les Crayères in Reims, the luxury destination for the Champagne region. He's tasted more great Champagne than almost anyone in the world, and has partnered with Reims glassware manufacturer Gerhard Lehmann to produce one of the greatest glasses ever made for Champagne. This glass is 41cl and is 9.2 inches tall with a diameter of 3.5 inches. It holds 13.8 oz and can be washed by hand or by machine. The tulip shape of this glass allows for a very pretty stream of bubbles to develop from the bottom of the glass, while the generous 410ml size allows room for the aromas to develop. Traditional flutes are too narrow at the top for one to smell the wine, plus they pour wine in a very narrow stream across the tongue. Regular wine glasses make Champagne look flat. The Jamesse gets it just right! *Price is per stem.* These ship only by the six-pack. Non-lead.

I love pulling these out for company when the champagne is popped. Their shape is unique and beautiful, and designed by Champagne Sommelier Philippe Jamesse to optimally deliver the aromas of the painstakingly crafted wine to your olfactory system. Champagne producers can spend up to a decade producing a bottle of champagne, why coop up all those beautiful aromas in a tiny flute that doesn't even reach your nose? The glass is still narrow enough to showcase the fine bubbles, and the price is one of the best you'll find thanks to K&L directly importing them from France. Grab a pack of these before you pour your next bottle of champagne, you'll see just how much it enhances the experience.

This is the only brand of Champagne glass that I use at home. Not that I do not appreciate traditional flutes but, I find that this Sommelier designed glass gives the bubblies a more concentrated and better nose, as well as keeping the bubbles going and going and going. It reminds me more of a traditional wine glass, which is what I use for tasting and evaluating champagne. So, it's a win-win! Plus, the affordable price helps out when replacing broken ones!

This glass is so good- I can't believe that we can buy them direct from the manufacturer in Reims and offer you, the champagne lover, such an incredible deal. They show off the champagne even prettier than in a flute, yet also allow for the aromas to develop and the flavors to pop. On top of that, they are machine washable! At this price, no champagne lover should be without a six pack!
