At Chimney Rock there are 40 separate and distinct vineyard blocks on the estate. Generally, most of these blocks are blended together to create the famed Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon. However, on occasion, the harvested grapes from one or two of the blocks are so outstanding, they're worthy of their own unique bottling. The Kairos Vineyard is located at the northern edge of the estate and is a benchland plot with gravel and loam soils.
