The Codigo blanco is an expressive and flavorful blanco that owes its clean agave flavor to a rather ineffective distillation process, one that uses traditional methods to mash and ferment. The richness of that agave comes through on a rounder and creamier mouthfeel, but the tequila is still clean and fresh despite the extra weight and tanginess. It's a higher end blanco that actually true tequila fans will recognize as higher end because of the extra concentration. This is far from a diffused and airbrushed commercial blanco.
