This blend of 50% Negroamaro, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Primitivo offers a bright, zesty nose of mixed berries alongside lifted pepper and graphite accents. Antinori however sees the potential for quality at an exceptional price and with their incredible base of knowledge and skilled winemakers they have crafted some unique and delicious wines. The Tormaresca "Neprica" is made from Negroamaro, Primitivo, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Negroamaro and Primitivo by themselves sometimes lack balance or their flavors are too forceful yet with the addition of the Cabernet Sauvignon to the mix, well ... Wow! Rich, complex, with loads of fruit yet balanced with a veil of structure that makes it eminently drinkable.
