FEW was relatively early in the craft whisky scene, but like so many, their small barrels and young aging kept them more or less relegated to a regional market and the occasional adventurous drinker. That is all a thing of the past now. They reached the craft tripping point several years ago and now everything released from the distillery is aged in full sized barrels and a minimum of four years. A revisit of their lineup is highly recommended as the whiskies are excellent. This is their flag ship rye, bottled at 93 proof.
