The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon John C. Sullenger Vineyard is arguably the most complete of the wines as it has everything; expressive aromatics, tons of concentration and the structure to back it all up. Beautifully layered in the glass, with all of the creaminess and textural allure that is the signature of so many of the finest Oakville Cabernets - the 2013 possesses stunning balance to match its dark personality. Even with all of its purely hedonistic opulence on full display, the Sullenger delivers tons of nuance and impeccable balance. (AG) (10/2015)
Exuberant red with blueberry and boysenberry aromas and flavors. Dark chocolate and hazelnut undertones. Full body, soft and silky tannins. Firm backbone to the flesh. Better in 2019. (5/2016)
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon John C. Sullenger Vineyard (14.9% alcohol) shows gorgeous blueberry and blackberry fruit, white flowers, sweet tannins and a full bodied opulence. There is plenty of structure behind all the fruit, and the wine is a 25-year wine for sure. (12/2015)
