2013 Williams Selyem "Weir Vineyard" Yorkville Highlands Pinot Noir (Previously $100)

SKU #1218945 91 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The 2013 Pinot Noir Weir Vineyard from Yorkville Highlands has a dark ruby/plum color and sweet notes of Red Delicious apple skins and baking spices as well as blueberry and raspberry fruit. It is medium-bodied, fresh, lively and capable of lasting 10-15 years. (RP) (3/2016)

90 points Allen Meadows - Burghound

Like several other entries there is a vague hint of tobacco present on the brooding and slightly somber red berry, earth and briar suffused aromas. I like the sense of energy on the delicious, round and supple medium-bodied flavors that possess a fine persistence on the dusty, firm and ever-so-mildly austere finish. (4/2016)

90 points Vinous

The 2013 Pinot Noir Weir Vineyard, from a site in the Yorkville Highlands, is vibrant, persistent and very nicely balanced. Sweet tobacco, earthiness, cherry, plum and crushed leaves are some of the signatures. The Weir is a bit slender in shape, but it makes up for that with its persistent finish. (AG) (8/2016)
