Here we have the añejo offering from this brand developed by heavy hitters George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Michael Meldman (and quite successfully sold to Diageo in 2017). These guys have definitely brought something more to the table than your average celebrity spirits brand. Clearly someone involved has some decent taste, because the juice is solid. NOM 1416 is well known to produce high-quality distillate. This añejo is rich and smooth on the palate with plenty of vanilla and baking spices on the finish.
