Great everyday Bordeaux at an amazing price. I know everyone has said the same thing as me, but I’ll say it again! This is one of the best value wines in the store that can stand by itself or be consumed with your weekday cuisine. It's also nice to find a good red with some age on it and 2010 just so happens to be a super solid vintage for the region.

One of our best deals in Bordeaux - not only for the price but for the opportunity to drink an excellent aged wine that is ready to be drunk now.

A wine that I will be keeping around the house! Great value from a superb bordeaux vintage-- lots of dark, red fruit makes this wine very approachable and easy to drink while still showing the typical signs of depth and complexity of the great bordeaux grapes.

Who says a good Bordeaux has to cost an arm and a leg! 2010 was a good all around vintage for Bordeaux lending structure and power to the wines. This wine is a fantastic value and shows especially well with a little air. There is a nice balance of dark, rich fruit, freshness and earth. At the price point this wine is at, buy one for your next steak and keep one to open in the future and see how it evolves over the next few years.

Great everyday Bordeaux. It shows off the vintage with it's dark rich fruit and moderate tannins. A touch of earth and juicy freshness make this a go to weeknight red.

An absolute super value. The Bois-Malot is juicy and round with nice dark fruit flavors. It shows how good reasonable priced wines can taste. Great alone it will go well with hearty foods.

From 10 hectares of vineyards on the banks of the Dordogne River, about 15 km from the city of Bordeaux itself, 3rd generation vigneron Jacques Meynard produces this incomparable Bordeaux Supérieur . I have found it to be remarkably consistent vintage to vintage, quite good even in years when the weather is less accommodating. Given the very favorable conditions of the extraordinary 2010 vintage, however, this little vin ordinaire is a surprisingly substantial wine! At first showing only ripe fruit with a slightly savory component, the wine – decanted – really opened up over the course of an hour. Sweet, ripe, almost jammy red fruits tasting of cherry preserves combined with a delightful note of fresh mint. A typical Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, and the Cabernet really takes the lead here. This is a big, full-bodied effort with lively acidity and firm tannins. Greatly outperforms the price point.

There's good reason as to why this wine is a perennial staff and customer favorite. It's a dark fruited, earthy, intense Bordeaux blend (50% Cab, 30% Merlot & 20% Cab Franc) at a very approachable price point. Pair this wine with a juicy hamburger or red meat of your choice. This is an absurdly serious wine for less than fifteen bucks.

This best-seller is dark, smooth and filled with rich, round fruit and a touch of earth. 2010 is a slightly more powerful vintage and this shows in the extra intensity and richness to the mid-palate but does not detract from the freshness on the finish. A super value to buy by the case.

You really don’t have to look very far into the exceptional 2010 vintage to discover great wines, and in the Bois Malot we’re happy to offer you an investment in value and flavor that will reward your palate every time you pop the cork. Ballasted by velvety core fruits and a tinge of lovely minerality and spice, this wine is drinking very well now, and will certainly cellar for several more years. The perfect red to both charm and enhance your everyday cuisine, so why wait?

A petit chateau owned by the Perrin family, this herbal beauty is so good for the price. An earthy nose with hints of black pepper on the palate thanks to 20% Cabernet Franc, Bois-Malot still presents gorgeous fruit, velvety mouthfeel, and a subtle “whoosh of vanilla” from its six months in oak. A stellar find that will impress.

In 1916 Jules Armand purchased the property located at Valenton St Loubès, a small town 25 km from Bordeaux. A stone's throw from the influence of the two rivers (the Garonne and Dordogne). It's these two rivers that add an early ripening and deeper concentration to the grapes. Great fruit and spice which gives way to a super dry finish. Perfect weekday wine.
