K&L Notes

49% Sonoma Coast, 43% Monterey County and 8% Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir. Winemaker Jayson Woodbridge, creator of the popular single vineyard Pinot with a singularly catchy name, Cherry Pie, says that he stumbled over a new concept while walking the vineyards: "Multi-Single-Vineyard blend." Tiny lots of grapes from three appellations are "micro fermented" in puncheon barrels and then combined to make this artisanal Pinot Noir. Whatever you call it, it sounds delicious.
