Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2006 Zinfandel Feeney Vineyard (15.2% alcohol) exhibits deep, peppery, earthy, herbal notes intermixed with black raspberry, sweet cherry, and damp earth. It is full-bodied and has lots of glycerin, power, and a long finish. (RP)

Inky ruby. Ripe blueberry and plum jam on the nose, with zesty floral and mineral qualities adding verve. Fresh and juicy, with sweet black and blue fruit flavors, gentle tannins and building spiciness. Impressive for its balance of depth and vivacity. This vineyard is being torn up and planted over to Pinot Noir, a variety that seems to be invading Sonoma Valley Zinfandel vineyards like kudzu.

Wine Enthusiast
This unusual and distinctive Zin has a silky texture and rich, finely ground tannins. The flavors range from classic black and red currants, mulberries, cloves and pepper to pastry flavors of coconut macaroon and fig cookie. Could easily develop over a decade.
