Connoisseurs Guide
Among the more direct and outgoing of the new Pinots from Williams Selyem, this very deep and well-focused wine is charged with plenty of juicy, young, ripe-cherry fruit. It is moderately full-bodied, slightly fleshy in feel and is a complete wine on the palate, and, while its hints of violets and walnutty spice promise increased complexity over time, its well-integrated acidity and its trim of fine-grained finishing tannins provide just the right structure and grip to ensure several years of guaranteed improvement.

Sweet strawberry with hints of flowers follow through to a medium body, with firm tannins and a fresh finish. A fruity and clean wine.

Deep ruby. Riper and more powerful than the Westside Neighbors bottling, displaying aromas of cherry, blackberry, licorice and dark chocolate. Broad, fleshy and warm, with good depth to its dark fruit flavors and a touch of bitter cherry on the back half. The pliant, long finish features repeating dark berry notes. (Winemaker Bob) Cabral noted that this is a warmer area than the west side of the river and that these are almost all Dijon clones "so the wine can be expected to be darker in character and more brawny than the Westside."
